~RAINY DAYS OF SPRING~

Rain, Rain go away and come again another day~ Actually as I write this it is "POURING".... CATS & DOGS.. I am home alone all by myself.. I'm feeling a bit lonely.. I have my animals to watch over me~ Today was the last of the school year for my son Cody... He was very excited to begin Summer break.. Several neighborhood kids stopped by but Cody wasn't home. He decided to stay the night at a friends house. I could tell all of the kids in the neighborhood were celebrating as they were running crazy around the neighborhood! What it would feel like to be that young again...

Currently there is a severe thunderstorm warning until 10pm We are expected to get 1-3 inches of rain overnight And here I sit alone as the sky rumbles.... Where is my husband when I need him??? I guess I will go downstairs and work on my piece of art. I went to visit my granny on lunch break today and her eye was swollen. She was going to the doctor. Later today she found out she had an eye infection. Poor granny she was so uncomfortable... I hope she gets well soon.

I see the forecast calls for hot and humid weather next week in Minnesota, uhhhh... I am not ready for the humidity, we don't get along well. I see the oil prices are being investigated as it is stated on tonights news/price manipulation??? Do you think,............. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

~Art Work~

OK, time for me to get down to business~ Last night I once again began painting..... Ahh, what a feeling........ It feels so good to put the paint brush on the canvas :) I can't wait to post my painting! This piece of art is larger then I have painted before.

Well, this morning woke up at 4:15 a.m. and off to the gym I went. I started back at the gym last weekend, finally.. I had a full day at work lots of counseling sessions. I then drove home and decided I wasn't really hungry so I went outside and pulled weeds. I was going to ride my bike but the tires need some air. I didn't have enough energy to load it up so maybe it won't happened until next week with all of the rain coming our way??? I talked with hubby, in Jordan today. He says HI to everyone! He is enjoying himself/Home Sweet Home....

I must get going and get my piece of art work done some time this week I hope. I decided to add some designs to the art work and it is very time consuming. Have a nice evening~

~Amman Jordan~

These are some pictures of the country of Jordan. Ahh, sweet bakery... ohhh they have my most favorite goodies there. There is this little cake called (ghatto) it is a white cake not very sweet with different nuts, chocolate, etc. In some ways it tastes like a Mocho cake but even better....

I talked with my hubby today and life is good for himmm... He would like to stay but is coming home only for ME... How sweet is that! We so miss Jordan and if I ever get the opportunity I would relocate in a heart beat. I know I would miss many people, my family, and friends.. I would miss lots of things as it's my home country. Have a good evening as I need to get going and get some business done around this house...

~Happy Memorial Day~

I hope we all take a moment out of our day to stop, and give thanks. I know many of you may be for or against the war but in reality there are fallen soldiers, soldiers that have been, and soldiers that are still fighting for all of us~ Thank you to all of those that have served or are still serving~ Also, a heartfelt thank you to the families that continue to struggle without their loved ones that are currently serving or have served. ~THANK YOU~

On a lighter note my husband called me this morning and he sounds so HAPPY!!! I don't get to hear his voice like that very often. He is so HAPPY when he is with his family. I know how they must feel because he brings so much to our lives Cody, and me. I made myself a good bowl of OATMEAL, and now I am off to the GYM... I hope all of you enjoy your Holiday, and enjoy the day with something you like to do. Life is about the little pleasures in life; cup of coffee, phone call, chocolate, light a candle, read a book, weed the garden, or sip a glass of wine.... ENJOY YOUR DAY...

~My Weekend~

~My Saturday was very busy... First I didn't get much sleep on Friday night as I was busy preparing some things for my husband to take along on his trip. Suit cases were packed plum full.. He actually had to pay more money because the luggage was over the 50 pound limit.

His first flight took off from Minneapolis-New York/JFK~ He had a big surprise as he sat next to a famous singer... He was sitting next to Vanilla ICE.. "Play that Funky Music White Boy" How cool is that~ My husband has met more famous people then I will ever in my life time. He did get an autograph for my son Cody!!!

His flight for Jordan took off at 11:00 central time. He will arrive in Jordan on Sunday early evening. There is also an 8 hour time difference so it should be around 10-11:00 am central time.

Yesterday my son and I went shopping. There is this really cool store "Steve & Starburry" Everything in the store is 8.97; shoes, jerseys, t-shirts, jackets, jeans, etc... My son was in "HEAVEN".. I bought 2 tops at Lane Bryant.. A pair of shoes, and a necklace. Then on our way home I realized I was without my cell phone. I realized what had happened~ When I laid my jean jacket down the clothes I was trying on were on the top. So, when I pulled my jacket out there it was... We only had to drive 7 miles back, uhhhh... We stopped at my parent's home as they were having a garage sale. We then stopped out at a craft show. It was ok no big purchases.

So I am without a husband for three weeks. My hubby pulled out my big yellow bike. I can't wait to ride it. I have so many things to do I don't know where I should start...I will miss him very much as I already do.. He won't be home for our 7th anniversary, how sad is that :((( I guess we will have lots of making up to do... I love my husband very much, and I will miss him very much~My Bestfriend~ I hope all of you have a safe weekend.

~Busy Packing~

Yes, I am once again packing! Unfortunately I am not packing for myself. I am helping my husband get ready for his longgg..... 3 week trip. He is traveling back home to the country of Jordan. I have been there 3 times and it's full of culture and beauty! I can't wait to visit again some year. With my new job it just isn't possible to leave for a three week period. Happy Friday to all of you:))))) 3 Day weekend........

~My Pedicure~

This is a picture of my toenails after my pedicure. I wanted to share this picture of what a neat job a lady did as she painted a piece of art on my toe. I think it looked so pretty~ It felt so nice to get a massage and a scrub on my feet, and legs/very relaxing.

Well I didn't get my piece of art work done but my house is looking a little less like a hurricane. I hope all of you had a really nice weekend~ I hope to get a piece of art work posted soon!
