LIFE IS ART
Art has a different meaning to each person. Two people can look at the exact same picture and visually see something different. No wonder we have difficulties understanding communication between one another~ This is the beautiful thing about life and creation! "It's in the eye of the beholder"
I have been so busy lately! Thursday evening we went to a wine tasting event to help raise money $$ for the humane society... We had a blast, succulent wine and tantalizing appetizers. I did win a door prize it was a jar full of M&Ms!! We have two sweet dogs that we rescued from the shelter and I would please have anyone check out their local humane society before they adopt from a breeder!
On Friday I and two other alumni were invited to represent the Department of Rehabilitation at the University from where I received my masters degree from. IT was a great day. It was an opportunity for me to have lunch with my good friend Kris at the Olive Garden. We also did a little shopping! Then we met our Professors for a few cocktails after the class.
Today I have been very busy! Let me just say I am going to get my "paint-brush wet"!!! Keep checking back on my blog site "symbolsofthesoul". I am not sure when I will have it ready but time will tell, thank you~
Each Day A Life
BY
Robert Service
I count each day a little life,
With birth and death complete;
I cloister it from care and strife
And keep it sane and sweet.
With eager eyes I greet the morn,
Exultant as a boy,
Knowing that I am newly born
To wonder and to joy.
And when the sunset splendours wane
And ripe for rest am I,
Knowing that I will live again,
Exultantly I die.
O that all Life were but a Day
Sunny and sweet and sane!
And that at Even I might say:
"I sleep to wake again."
