I hope that this information gets relayed to the two artists that have so rudely voiced their opinions against my sister. If someone wants to be fair and wants everyones' point to be objectified then I think it's only fair to post all comments and to not be selective.
When I came upon this information in my sister's blog I was very sadden and disheartened! My sister works very hard at what she does and especially in her originality. She has been an artist for as long as I can remember. I think it's interesting because as I was looking through both of their blogs, and looking at the items they both have created. It's interesting the similarities in the designs of some of their dolls. They have vague similarities. For example your St. Patrick dolls. The strange thing is Tonya's doll was posted first???? So do I assume then that one of them have copied her doll??? You know what I think is interesting Haven't you heard the olde saying "when you point the finger at someone else it points back at yourself"!
I understand that you are all artists and you want to be acknowledged and authenticated for your originality but to bully someone and to publicly make statements and comments to try and make the kind of statement that they have it really speaks loudly about the kind of artists that both of them are! Do you really think that for as many years and with the "ELITE ARTIST" that Tonya is that she would need to stoop to the level of having to copy someone else's creation??? It simply doesn't make sense...
I believe people should speak their minds, but simply the point that they are conveying about copy write is the exact same thing that Joyce did with replicating her friends doll and Tonya's clown pattern???? Even better she created such drama over this that Joyce created some attention in hopes of making a profit! I guess you could assimilate her as a poparotzi.. This simply reminds me of petty, high school/child like behavior!
Can't we all just get along! When your in the public eye I guess you will always be scrutinized!

Amen, Tonya does not need to steal anyones ideas.... Give me a break!!! She is a wonderful artisan and if I have said it once I have said it a thousand times...... THERE ARE ONLY SO MANY WAYS TO MAKE A DOLL!!!!! So there...... hehhehehehe
