"WHAT DO YOU SEE"???

I can hardly believe what I can see in the bottom of my coffee mug??? The things that make you go hmmmm... These images are made from coffee grounds. I dumped out the left over coffee and left the mug sitting in the pop holder in my suv. When I got home that evening and was bring all my stuff in the house I happened to look at what was in my cup? Let's see if we all see the same thing???

This first image is an image of a ... elephant blowing his trunk, 2nd image is a Dog looking at you with with those big eyes! 3rd picture is an image of a man pointing towards the mountains??? I hope all of you can see what I see in theses photos??? Let me know what you see... It's amazing how different the eye can be trained to see things. I hope all of you have a Fantastic weekend!

~YIPPIE I AM A WINNER~

I won!!! I won a 3rd place give away gif on "Wonders of Whimsy" blog give away (Jenny Carter)!!!! Thanks Jenny I like the pretty design on the playing cards and your sweet note card! Thanks a bunch!!

I am Happy & Sad tonight... Jamie my college pal, best friend is leaving for College Station, Texas!!!!! She just landed an Awesome job at Texas A&M. She is going to be an adviser for International students at the university. So, it is bitter sweet... she is getting her dream job and I am tickled pink for her! It's just I will miss the fun weekends we sometimes get to spend together. We have traveled the world, literally together... From Mexico, to the country of Jordan, what memories....

So any ways Jamie I am happy for you that you are getting the opportunity to live out your dream... I still say some day we will meet up in Jordan. Our husbands are best friends and they are both from the country of Jordan. How neat is that... and our sons are the same age. Except now Jamie and her hubby have little Alex together and we haven't yet had a little one.

Oh well, I will look forward to visiting Texas once again... San Antonio is beautiful, especially the "River Walk"! At Christmas time it is breath taking... Everyone must go at least once. So Bonn Voyage, good luck, and the best to you my friend... Like you said it's not good bye, it's see you soon.

~Just Another Summer Day~

Here in Minnesota the rain began here around 3-4:00 this morning. I remember hearing the rain as it hit against the house. It was very hard and the wind was so strong it woke me from a dead sleep. Even the electricity went out for a bit. My alarm clock was flashing this morning. I had the day off as I was to have my annual check up. I had lunch with my friend Lisa today. We ate at the Olive Garden for lunch. We then did a little shopping, and I adventured home. I am going to try and work on my piece of art work tonight once again. I need to get to bed early as I have been feeling tired all day. Probably because for the last 3 nights I have went to bed not before 1 A.M....

I hope all of you enjoyed your day~ OK.... I am editing this post as I have my NEW PIECE OF ART WORK COMPLETE....... I will probably give a SNEAK PEAK tomorrow... I will list it this weekend on E-bay....HAPPY DANCE...

My morning began with a nice bowl of oatmeal with fresh raspberries that my nephew Jordan picked for me yesterday, can I say yummy...

It's a cool, beautiful morning! We had a severe thunderstorm last night and to our pleasure the weather has cooled off. We are off to the Farmer's Market this morning and then my son and nephew are going fishing... I hope all of you have a fabulous weekend!

~A Day Is Never Complete Without the Kindness We Show Each Other~

Here is a sweet poem I read today, author unknown... It just amazes me how as adults we don't realize that the simplest things we do are very impressionable to a child. From the things we make, to the things we say and the actions we do will remain in the soul of a child for a life time...I was just thinking this evening about my own child, to the children of my friends to my own nieces and nephews. Always try to spoil a child and always try to say yes as much as possible.

Remember when you were small and how happy or excited you became when the answer was "YES"... That smile in the eye of a child, or the twinkle in their eye... How easily they leave imprints on our hearts~ Celebrate the gift of a child today~ Remember to do the little things like; making their favorite snack, reading them a story, coloring, catching bugs & butterflies, giving a child a flower, rubbing their back, and most of all just remember to tell them how much you Love them... To my son, Cody I LOVE YOU... and to all of my nieces and nephews, and Alex butterfly kisses, and hugs...and Congrats to my friend Serena as she just gave birth to a new baby boy on Monday... Carson James... Welcome to the world Carson... You have a special mommy and a beautiful family that loves you... I can't wait to see him...

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a !
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each
other.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give o f
your time and money to help people who had nothing,
and I learned that those who have something should
give to those who don't.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking! I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and productive person when I grow up.
when you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,'Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'

I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO DO SO
MUCH FOR OTHERS,
BUT THINK THAT NO ONE EVER SEES.
LITTLE EYES SEE A LOT.

Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle,
teacher, friend)
influences the life of a child.

How will you touch the life of someone today? Just by
sending this to someone else, you will probably make
them at least think about their influence on others.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak
kindly.
Leave the rest to God

~Cherish Each & Every Day That Life Has Given You~

I so enjoy this beautiful weather here in Minnesota... There is nothing better then being able to run out of the house with sandels and no coat... This is living...

I thought I would share some words that were written by Tim Sosebee before he passed away suddenly on June 30th. These words were to be published in a county news letter for the month of July by Tim. I never got the opportunity to meet him but I know his wife and that says a lot about him and what kind of person he was. He left behind a wonderful wife and three children. He died suddenly from a heart attack this past Sunday. I attended his wake today and I felt so sad for his family. Sherry his wife works for a business that my agency does business with. I found out Monday morning as I was to meet a consumer of mine at her office. I was very shocked, and saddened when I heard this dreadful news. My heart goes out to Sherry and her family as I know what it means to lose a father, and a significant other. Life changes in an instant...

In Memory of Tim Sosebee
June 30, 2008

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy.
They just promised it would be worth it"...

Written by T.Sosebee

How often we take life for granted and all of the great people and gifts we have been given. Please live each day to the fullest and cherish each person that enters your life. We cross paths with many people every day, some are strangers and become friends. Others may smile at you or may simply say a kind gesture and some how they forever leave an impression on your soul. Why do you think I sleep so little??? I enjoy every thing that life has to offer..... There simply is not enough time in the day to enjoy it all... Have a Happy Thursday and be kind to everyone, especially the ones you LOVE...
