~NUTCRACKER~

This Sunday I spent the day with some of my family at the "Nutcracker ballet". It was nice to be able to spend some time with some of my family today. This weather, "BLIZZARD" this weekend in Minnesota is really unbearable... Can I say brrrrrr. I think this weekend we must have gotten 12 inches of snow! This bad weather has really gotten me behind in shopping. I don't have my Christmas tree up yet, and I just started baking a bit. So I just wanted to drop a line and I better get going before I am considered the scrooge!

~Blizzard In Minnesota~

I just love MINNESOTA/NOT...
I just wanted to drop a few lines to say a kind hello to all of my friends. Time is just zipping by... Can you believe I don't even have our Christmas tree up yet, uhhh...
I have had zero time. When I was working this weekend I went to a play/dance recital called "Scrooge". It was light entertainment but it brought in the Christmas spirit! I hope all of you have been shopping, baking and thinking of your loved ones... Be kind and spread the holiday spirit and remember all of those that have less and are in need... Spread Christmas~

~What a Wonderful Holiday Event~

What a Sunday I had!!! I went with my mom to the "Transiberian Orchestra"... It was an amazing show!!! I have never seen anything like it... I highly recommend everyone to go... It was an amazing holiday show that made me weep.. There was a narrator and then the music told the story. It reminds people to always be kind and give. Not only at Christmas time but all through the year! Thanks mom for a great time! In a few weeks we are going to the "Nut Cracker"!! What a way to get into the Holiday spirit!!! Now if I could only find time to get the Christmas tree up!

**It's Snowing in Minnesota**

It's beginning to feel like Christmas outside... Tuesday was a very busy day for me. I helped the ladies in a group home where I work set up their Christmas tree! We listened to Christmas music, ate pizza, made cookies, went to Starbucks, and drove around and looked at Christmas lights... Now if you call that work??? I call that having a good time!!!

Tomorrow I get to do the same thing again!!! My new job is very sweet!!! I get to do lots of fun, busy things that I really enjoy doing. My day is never dull, always busy... I get to be out in the community, talking with people, shopping, be in a home environment, teach life skills, inspire people what more could I ask for???

I have to admit I am very busy and lately I have barely had time to think of anyone. I feel really bad because life is so precious and time is so short. It's usually late at night when I want to call people and they are usually in bed. I send a big hello out to everyone and I am sorry I haven't been able to keep up with life...

I hope you all have a beautiful day and I hope all of you get the opportunity to inspire someone. Many smiles to you from across the miles :)))))

~HAPPY THANKSGIVING~

I thought this picture was so sweet.. This is not my picture but I found it on the web. I hope the owner doesn't mind but I thought I had to share as it was so sweet~

I also found this poem that I thought touched every point in my heart~ So I thought as well I would share. Near and far my family and friends are but please know you are all dear to my heart... I will miss having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all of my loved ones. My family has fallen apart and many of us have gone our own ways. My family changed drastically two years ago. How the years fly by and how things have changed. Holidays are not the same any more. I think with my husband having different traditions then I and not having much family things really are not the same. I stand in my kitchen at midnight tonight making pumpkin pies and standing alone. I think when it comes down to things it really makes me wonder who you can count on in this life???
Through the years I have been faced with many set backs and as well I have been rewarded. I have a good life, I have a son that never seems to break the rules, gets good grades and most days helps as much as a teenager can. He's good at sports and doesn't ask for much. I have a husband who provides and who helps most days as much as husbands do. I have two dogs, one cat that love me unconditionally. I have a few family members that I can count on two hands that I don't see very often. I have a few friends near and far that I don't see very often. I have a great job, a nice house, nice cars what more could I ask for??? Life is sometimes just the way it is. Tomorrow I get to celebrate Thanksgiving with a few ladies I help with daily living skills every day. I am thankful I get to bring joy to their lives! I will celebrate the rest of the day and evening with my husband son, and some of his friends. My mother will stop in for a bit and possibly my brother will bring granny by my place. I will have many great people around me on this special day that I give thanks for~

I hope all of you near and far have a Happy Thanksgiving~ For all of those that are with out their family and loved ones I send a special prayer your way and may you know that someone near or far are holding you in their thoughts~

~Happy Thanksgiving~

Kimbella :)))

This Thanksgiving holiday with its blessings so grand
Should serve to remind us of the joys at hand
The friendships we treasure, our families dear
The love we've been given and shared, year to year
The food at our tables, where many have none
The dawn of each morning beneath the bright sun
The dreams that we carry; the warmth in our hearts
That bring us together when we are apart.

~WHIRL WIND~

WOW... MY LIFE HAS BEEN SPINNING....
It has been anything but slow.... It has been a great adventure trying to put a business together. It's a big responsibility to have so many other people depending on you. I think I am doing a great job and the most important thing is that at the end of the day everyone is content...I really like my new job so far as a Director...

Cool weather in Minnesota, sounds of Holiday times in the air~ My husband is returning from San Antonio Texas tonight.. He called and he just landed in Minneapolis. It will be a midnight return home time... During these last two weeks we have spent very little time together. It will be nice to spend a nice night in his arms again~ Happy Hump day tomorrow...

My husband finally returned from his weekend vacation. He should have flown back instead of driving. He flew out to Las Vegas last Thursday and met his friend in Las Vegas. They decided to return by car so they could explore some new sites and sounds! I think next time he would prefer to fly???

My new job is going great!

~PATH WIDE OPEN~

When I looked at this beautiful picture it reminded me of the journey I am encountering! I have been given an excellent opportunity in my employment to excel and accomplish! In the next few weeks a lot of information will come together and for the most part begin to make sense! I hope all of you enjoyed the beautiful weekend!

~A NEW BEGINING~

This long side-walk reminds me of the journey that I am about to encounter. There has been some new changes that have went on in my life lately. To begin with I have accepted a new job offer. I will be closer to home and I will not have to drive an hour each way any more! :))) That is very exciting for me as I have just gained 2 more hours in my day. How great is that to be able to do more things in my day... I have excepted a new job in a Director position. It is helping develop group homes for disabled adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. It is definitely going to be challenging and offer many benefits/rewards for me at the same time. It was a huge step for me as I have felt that I have been in a safety net as I have been employed with the State for over 5 years. New adventures, nothing ventured nothing gained. I am excited and nervous at the same time which is normal. I have enjoyed working in the vocational rehabilitation area and my consumers have brought so much to my life more then they will ever know... Well for now that is it I must read the newspaper and get ready for work. I hope all of you enjoy the day and stay dry~

~ COLORS OF FALL~

I think the thing I like most about Fall is the brilliant colors that impress my eyes. Yesterday I was staring out the window and I noticed that many of the brilliant bright colors are quickly turning brown and blowing around on the ground. I guess every thing has it's season. Today I am up early and as my hubby puts it having a continental breakfast; granola cereal and yogurt, oj, and coffee. I hope all of you have a grand day! I need to read the newspaper quickly and scoot off to work~

~DAYS OF FALL~

This weekend went really fast zzzzooommm.... Waited for my friend to call from Texas??? I hope all of you enjoyed this awesome fall weekend!!!

~FALL DAY~

This morning I can feel that Fall is here~
Sorry I haven't updated my blog lately my internet has been down??? There is always something that binds my time. That's a good thing then I know that I am engaged in life... It's interesting when you take the time to look around, take in your senses, use your nose to smell the crisp clean air, eyes to see the beautiful bold Fall colors... When I was at the zoo a few weeks ago I actually stopped took in a deep breath of air AMAZING I was fully engaged in the moment. How often do we buzz here and there and don't even realize the beauty of the earth... Take time to engage in the moment; the sights and sounds around you. Take in some deep breaths, touch your feet, let the piece of chocolate melt in your mouth and enjoy the simple pleasures of site, smell, and taste of everything. Happy Hump Day~

~I NEED A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE~

I have not been feeling well since last week. I have a terrible case of laryngitis and sinus infection. I have been taking antibiotics since Friday and I seem to be slowly gaining my voice back. My voice is stressed and the doctor recommended rest. Besides that not much else going on here...

~A DAY AT THE ZOO~

Saturday was a day at the Como Zoo in St.Paul, Minnesota. To say the least there was a bit of monkeying around.... It was a beautiful day to walk around outside. After that we returned to Mankato and we spent an evening watching the TiberWolves basketball team. It was amazing to watch the half time show.. The mascot and the others that flip in the air it was mouth dropping...

I woke up this Sunday morning and it has been raining for some time. I enjoy a rainy day but why on the weekend??? It should only do that during the week :)..

Happy Weekend to all of you~

~IMAGINATION~

I thought this was a neat piece of abstract art~ It lets your mind wonder and create different thoughts and emotions. Just by looking at this piece gives me a sense of "fluttering wings" FREEDOM...

So what can I say it's been some time sense I have posted. I have been very busy with some new things I am doing in my life. Sorry to all of you who are so devoted to checking in on me and my blog. What a beautiful day out today... I hear this whole week is going to be delightful!!!

I am glad to hear my friend Jamie is OK in TEXAS... They just missed the storm.. T/G.. My heart goes out to all of the folks that have been hit by the destruction. Mother nature can be so fierce... I hope to keep up on my blogging and I hope to start my art work again soon. It will still be at least a few more weeks but there will for sure be more to come... Enjoy this beautiful day~

~AN AMERICAN SPIRIT/DREAM~

On this Thursday night August 28th,2008 In remembrance of my father's life. He passed away thirty years ago today. I still remember that somber day when I was a six year old little girl. How my life changed, sometimes I still wonder how my life and my family's lives would have been different???

On another note, tonight Barack Obama spoke. He excepted the nomination to run for president. It was interesting to listen to him speak about his life as a child. I guess I was most impressed about him talking about how we all struggle, and strive to be more, and do more. You know, "The American Dream".... My mind has to wonder though if there is a hidden agenda???

With every president, and including politicians there is usually something for them to gain??? I may be gullible, but I'm not that ignorant... I'm not saying that I oppose every thing that Barack represents either but, I have to wonder????? Either way I'm still going to be poor, under paid, and still have to work like a maniac to have the things in life that I want... I'm female, and I wasn't born into money, so I don't think I need to say any more.....

I still believe that hard work gets you closer to your dreams if your body or mind don't fail you first*************

Kuddos to you MOM... My mom is till recovering from her third hip surgery. My mom may not know this, as I don't always have enough time to go and visit her. But I think of her often, and call or talk to her most every day. I wish we lived closer so I could stop in briefly every day. She has always been a hard worker. She worked in factories her whole life. I tried it for about 9 years. That was enough to inspire me that I didn't want my body to end up the same way. I still have aches from doing physically labored jobs. I thank God that he gave me wisdom, courage, and strength to use my mind to better my life. I guess that is what we try to do, is to inspire for our children to become more then we have been. I, as a mother myself know the sacrifices you make for your family. I love you mom, and I hope you get better soon~

Well, that's my chapter for tonight...
Sweet Dreams, and smiles as always :)))

Happy Birthday Big Boy (Hubby)!!!

Happy Birthday today August 18th to my sweet husband Sam~ I hope all of your wishes & dreams come true...These pictures are from a few weekends ago when we went to Rapidan. We spent the weekend with my sister and her family. Today we are going to enjoy each other. I took vacation from work and he as well.

I know it's been some time since I have updated my blog. I have made several attempt s. Every time I sit down in the evening I am just so darn tired I just start to fall asleep. It's not that I haven't thought about all of you that are so kind to check in~ I haven't done any art work either lately. Soon school will be starting and things will be hopping around here. My son is in football and he starts practice next Monday...

I hope all of you are enjoying these sweet days of summer**

~Dog Days of Summer~

It's already in the air... It began last week when I was at the grocery store. There is a gift store and there is a mannequin dressed in fall clothes. Then yesterday morning with the fog in the air, it was just one more sign that Fall is just around the corner...

It seems as if the Summer has just begun and it's now Fall.. Did I miss something? I feel as if there are so many days that I am held captive, and living in a box. When you work all day and you are in an office with no windows... Life is just a vision in your mind..

So I hope we are all enjoying the last month of Summer... It's so nice not having to wear coats, shoes... I hope all of you have a great week~

~ODE TO FRIENDS~

First things first.. I wanted to say Mom, get well soon~ I hope she has a very speedy recovery~ My Mom just had a third hip replacement. When she had the second replacement her hip was never quite the same. She will be coming home from the hospital on Saturday. So, I will be traveling to her house and try and help her out.

Well this week has been exhausting... Traveling, working, planning... I have a three day weekend coming up How sweet is that!!! Believe me I have more then enough to keep me busy. Today, it is now Saturday 1 am and I am going to get up early, head to the Farmers' Market, get my hair done, shop, and go visit mom. I also need to go and pick some flowers from my garden for my mother. So Happy Saturday:)))) Have Fun!
Here is a poem I have written with a little help, thanks sis~
~Smiles, Kimbella~:)))

~ODE TO FRIENDS~
Friends are a mystery of what they behold & So the stories and
lessons are told~

Friends can be compared to a bowl of colored jelly beans, each one
represents a different flavor in my life~
I think of flowers, wine, & good times...
Memories of shopping, sipping, sharing dreams, & fears...
All the while through laughter & tears...

Special people that have touched my life
They come & go, in and out like a weave in a picnic basket
Some that have aspired to reach beyond
and to the others that have stayed I have forever been changed
That to me, is a true friend!

Let's see if we all see the same thing???

This first image is an image of a ... elephant blowing his trunk, 2nd image is a Dog looking at you with with those big eyes! 3rd picture is an image of a man pointing towards the mountains??? I hope all of you can see what I see in theses photos??? Let me know what you see... It's amazing how different the eye can be trained to see things. I hope all of you have a Fantastic weekend!

~Just Another Summer Day~

Here in Minnesota the rain began here around 3-4:00 this morning. I remember hearing the rain as it hit against the house. It was very hard and the wind was so strong it woke me from a dead sleep. Even the electricity went out for a bit. My alarm clock was flashing this morning. I had the day off as I was to have my annual check up. I had lunch with my friend Lisa today. We ate at the Olive Garden for lunch. We then did a little shopping, and I adventured home. I am going to try and work on my piece of art work tonight once again. I need to get to bed early as I have been feeling tired all day. Probably because for the last 3 nights I have went to bed not before 1 A.M....

I hope all of you enjoyed your day~ OK.... I am editing this post as I have my NEW PIECE OF ART WORK COMPLETE....... I will probably give a SNEAK PEAK tomorrow... I will list it this weekend on E-bay....HAPPY DANCE...

~A Day Is Never Complete Without the Kindness We Show Each Other~

Here is a sweet poem I read today, author unknown... It just amazes me how as adults we don't realize that the simplest things we do are very impressionable to a child. From the things we make, to the things we say and the actions we do will remain in the soul of a child for a life time...I was just thinking this evening about my own child, to the children of my friends to my own nieces and nephews. Always try to spoil a child and always try to say yes as much as possible.

Remember when you were small and how happy or excited you became when the answer was "YES"... That smile in the eye of a child, or the twinkle in their eye... How easily they leave imprints on our hearts~ Celebrate the gift of a child today~ Remember to do the little things like; making their favorite snack, reading them a story, coloring, catching bugs & butterflies, giving a child a flower, rubbing their back, and most of all just remember to tell them how much you Love them... To my son, Cody I LOVE YOU... and to all of my nieces and nephews, and Alex butterfly kisses, and hugs...and Congrats to my friend Serena as she just gave birth to a new baby boy on Monday... Carson James... Welcome to the world Carson... You have a special mommy and a beautiful family that loves you... I can't wait to see him...

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a !
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each
other.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give o f
your time and money to help people who had nothing,
and I learned that those who have something should
give to those who don't.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking! I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and productive person when I grow up.
when you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,'Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'

I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO DO SO
MUCH FOR OTHERS,
BUT THINK THAT NO ONE EVER SEES.
LITTLE EYES SEE A LOT.

Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle,
teacher, friend)
influences the life of a child.

How will you touch the life of someone today? Just by
sending this to someone else, you will probably make
them at least think about their influence on others.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak
kindly.
Leave the rest to God

~Cherish Each & Every Day That Life Has Given You~

I so enjoy this beautiful weather here in Minnesota... There is nothing better then being able to run out of the house with sandels and no coat... This is living...

I thought I would share some words that were written by Tim Sosebee before he passed away suddenly on June 30th. These words were to be published in a county news letter for the month of July by Tim. I never got the opportunity to meet him but I know his wife and that says a lot about him and what kind of person he was. He left behind a wonderful wife and three children. He died suddenly from a heart attack this past Sunday. I attended his wake today and I felt so sad for his family. Sherry his wife works for a business that my agency does business with. I found out Monday morning as I was to meet a consumer of mine at her office. I was very shocked, and saddened when I heard this dreadful news. My heart goes out to Sherry and her family as I know what it means to lose a father, and a significant other. Life changes in an instant...

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy.
They just promised it would be worth it"...

How often we take life for granted and all of the great people and gifts we have been given. Please live each day to the fullest and cherish each person that enters your life. We cross paths with many people every day, some are strangers and become friends. Others may smile at you or may simply say a kind gesture and some how they forever leave an impression on your soul. Why do you think I sleep so little??? I enjoy every thing that life has to offer..... There simply is not enough time in the day to enjoy it all... Have a Happy Thursday and be kind to everyone, especially the ones you LOVE...

~My Weekend~

My Friday evening began with having a nice fine dining experience with my mom... I never got to take her out for her Birthday lunch so I thought I would treat her to this new fabulous eating place called "Olives". It's new and it's located in a new hotel in Mankato, Minnesota. There is a spin of greek/Middle Eastern on the food and dining experience. Let me say great food... Mom enjoyed every bit of it... We then went to Barnes & Nobel and picked up a few books.

On Saturday night I went out for dinner with my hubby. This was to make up for the Anniversary we never got to celebrate since he was away visiting his family. We had good food and then went to a local coffee shop. It was nice to spend some quality time together.

Today I weeded the flowers and bushes/NOT so fun... It had to be done as there was this weed that is trying to strangle the flowers and bushes??? Not sure of the name of it. I then went for a small bike ride. That was my very quick weekend. It's never long enough. Off to work again tomorrow. At least I have a short week this week and next week also. It's the 4th of July on Friday so no work for me!!! Yippee.. I hope all of you have a splendid Sunday evening. I am going to do some case work and watch the Food Network tonight. There is a competition that is on going to see who will become the next host for Food Network. Happy Monday:)))

~Fresh Strawberries~

Once again time has prevailed me.... I can't say that I have been busier then any other day just plain tired... On Wed I had to drive to Redwing for work and I stopped and picked up some home grown strawberries, can I say YUMMY..... I remember when I was a kid and getting paid for picking strawberries and nibbling on the sweet pieces heaven..

My back has been bothering me, along with my leg and foot. I guess I pulled a muscle.. So this has slowed me down a bit this last weekend and into the week. I am feeling like I have more energy once again... I guess taking my vitamins helped perk me up! No big plans this weekend but I would like to start painting once again and putting some of my cards together...

I hope all of you enjoy your weekend and enjoy the Summer weather..

~Thrifty Finds~

My Saturday morning began with a day at the local Farmer Market;Raspberry pie, home-made organic bread, scones, and asparagus. I then had an early morning appointment with my favorite stylist. My hair turned out great!!! My brother met me and we had lunch at "Panera". Then we made our way to the local THRIFT STORE...

I found a few items of treasure; picnic basket, stand, movie,CD, and a few books. I then went home and my husband and I together made dinner. We grilled out... We were going to sit on the deck and relax with a fire and it started raining. I was so tired I am not sure why? I decided to turn in around midnight and I was still exhausted this morning when I woke? I guess many things twirling around in my mind.

I just wanted to drop a few lines as I have been simply exhausted lately, and not very motivated. Can I say just "TIRED"... I am not 23 any more where I could go to be at 2 in the morning and wake up at 6 am bright eyed and bushy tailed....

I hope all of you have a pleasant Sunday with many memories of this beautiful Sunday day...

~HE'S HOME~

First, I am so happy my hubby is back home... It feels good to have someone to hug, and kiss....... I made a wonderful dinner tonight for the tow of us.. Yes, some alone time. Dinner by candle light, a little wine... I made some Greek/Middle Eastern food. I made some Pepper Poppers/appetizer;cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese with bread crumbs popped them in the oven mmmhh... Main dish was Spanakopita a spinach, lamb dish with romano cheese, feta cheese, olive oil, and many herbs.... I also made Tzatziki Dip/cucumber dip... It was all very yummy and I had to experiment after I took that Greek cooking class... I changed a few things and you know me Ms.Creative I put my own twist on the main dish and combined the lamb meatballs with the Spanakopita. I didn't feel like standing in the kitchen all day! I wanted to share this posting with all of you as it really touched my heart and I know as an artist, crafter this is what makes the work we do so special~ Patricia, I hope you don't mind that I am sharing...

Hi, Kim, I hope your spouse's return is joyous for you and your son. I just wanted to let you know that Angels Among Us is going to Lydia's House one day this week-very possibly tomorrow morning. I had it framed, with a spacer and museum glass to protect your canvas. It looks awesome! I added a small brass plaque to the frame showing your title, and the statement 'given in memory of Dr. Thomas J. Conran.' I will take a picture. I also printed out your blog information, as the artist, and put a copy on the back. You should be very proud of your talents, and the fact that you will be displayed in the very environment where your story may bring hope to others-look what you've accomplished with the gifts you have been given. God Bless!! Pat H.

I hope all of you have a blessed night as well
As always,

~My Weekend~Happy Fathers Day~

I thought I might update my blog today as it has been some time.... It's amazing how time gets away from us. Well my last few days and weekend have been busy as usual. I had my friends daughter's graduation party.. That was fun... I made Megan a personalized card with her, the graduate on the front. It was a neat card. I will finally get my camera back tomorrow as my Hubby will be arriving Monday evening at the Minneapolis airport from Amman, Jordan.

Also this weekend my brother and I check out a new coffee shop in Mankato. The atmosphere is very serene and authentic. They have excellent Brevo a coffee drink with coffee, milk, and froth on the top. We shared a chocolate cupcake with the most yummiest cream inside, ohhhhhhhhhh to die for.... can you say DELICIOUS, yummyyyy....

We also stopped in at one of the local thrift stores. I found a few good finds; 3 cds, 3 shirts, and a cute plate with a cat that is grinning a big cheesy smile (find of the day), 50 cents.

And today, Sunday I made Rhubarb, strawberry crisp with organic rolled oats. I tried a few of my own ideas, a little twist. I added fresh squeezed orange juice, and vanilla. I also made a strawberry, rhubarb sauce.. They are both very tasty, thank you.... My son that the crisp is DELICIOUS.. he has not tried the sauce yet that I mainly made it for my grandma.

Today the weather is beautiful.. A bit windy but I can handle this type of summer day. I am going to paint a piece outside by my steps as the paint was starting to chip away. I need to get the house in order as hubby will be home tomorrow..... I miss him so much. It was our 7th Anniversary on June, Friday the 13th. We are so much in LOVE, just like the first day we met..... I know we have moments but the good out weighs the bad stuff... I am thankful for my hubby. And I must wish him a Happy Fathers Day. He is not here to share but we called him. My father passed away when I was 6 years old. I miss him as much as I can remember of him. He died August 28th, 1978. It will be 30 years this August WOW, unbelievable. Although, I wish my step-father a Happy Fathers Day as he has been in our lives for the past20 years. It just isn't the same. My life, and my family changed on the dreary day back in August of 1978. Life goes on with or without you. I also want to send out my deepest sorrows to all of the people that have lost their loved ones, and belongings from all of the flooding and tornadoes lately. It's a very heart wrenching site to see.

As always,

~Yummy~Organic~Food~

Theses are my yummy goodies I found today! One of my clients suggested that I try some of the organic stoned oats (WOW)... they look fabulous and I ate some of the oats plain~yummy...I will make Oatmeal for breakfast. I also bought a mixture of wild rice, brown rice, and lentil together... and the carob for my sweet tooth except there is not sugar in the carob......Awesome..... I put a little of the organic cocoa in my instant coffee with a little milk~what a nice treat...

Tonight the weather has been scary... Tornado warnings, the lightening, and rumbles. I'm scared... the sky just keeps rumbling and the winds.... I hope Iowa doesn't get any more rain down there, but I think that just isn't going to happened. I will pray for them folks.

~Greek Cooking Class~HaPpY BiRtHdAy JaMiE~

What fun I had last night!!! I went to a Greek Cooking class... I had so much fun with my friend Ann. We had good wine, good food... If you wanted to you could help prepare the different dishes. I did pitch in and help make the Humus.. I did this so I can now make it at home for my husband. I also learned how to make cucumber sauce, lamb meatballs, this spinage pastery. All of the official names are very difficult to pronounce. Chef Jill was a blast and she made the night come alive. If any of you get a chance to partake in a cooking class, "It's great".... I need to go and get ready for work. Oh, my weekend was fun, lots of shopping.. We drove up to the Mall of America.. Today is my friend JAMIE"S Birthday... Happy Birthday Jamie~Eat lot's of cake for me....... My husband comes back home in 6 Days..... I miss you Sam..
